As an artist based in Stockholm, Sweden, my inspiration originates from the closeness to surrounding seascapes and the nearby archipelago. Apart from working as an art and craft educator I work in my art studio regularly.  As inspiration and to build upon ideas for upcoming projects, I document all aspects of my surroundings, the close nature, walking by the seafront,  through photography and sketching, .

 

• In my studio I explore the elements of expressive abstract landscapes, incorporating objects and features of nature and sea. Sceneries may vary, where I work mainly with acrylic- and oil based mediums , combined with mixed media.​

• To articulate a specific sense of expression in a composition, I like to play with contrasts, layers and emerging colour palettes, and enjoy exploring new mediums and materials where I develop new work.

• For me, creating art is a constantly stimulating, joyful, challenging and captivating journey and would love to share this journey with you.
